Jack and Jill

Jack and Jill # 9

Jack: What do you want for your birthday, honey?

Jill: It would be rather better if you didn’t ask that.

Jack: Why, exactly?

Jill: Because I want something that you would not let me have.

Jack: Come on, why wouldn’t I?

Jill: Because you hate it as much as I love it.

Jack: I don’t think so. We love the same things.

Jill: Sure. Except One.

Jack: Try me.

Jill: I want a Puppy.

Jack: No way!!!

Jill: I told you. You don’t love me as much as you hate dogs.

Jack: *ponders*

        1. Sounds about fair πŸ™‚ Actually, the open ended Jack and Jill conversations have many alternative routes to go ahead. I prefer them to remain open for the readers to ponder. πŸ˜‰

  1. Taking care of pets is like taking care of children; so one should keep a puppy at home only if one can take good care of it. Often I have seen people keeping puppies in chains, outside in sun or chilly winter or rains without shelter, without proper food or water, or beating up so badly till they get injured, not getting them treated when they fall ill, not immunizing them, etc, etc. All these are much worse than not liking puppies at all and not wanting to keep them at home.

  2. I must say after this I know one such couple who could have this kind off conversation πŸ˜‰ I am sure much of Jack and Jill conversation is taken from real experience πŸ˜›
